Charlie played spring soccer this year for the second time. Last spring, she wasn’t too enthused about it and seemed to spend most of the games picking at her fingernails.

This year was a different story. In her first game, she scored a goal. In her second game, she scored two goals. And in every game, she ran, kicked and hustled her way around the field. We told her to just go and attack the ball, and that is pretty much what she did.

Oh, and as you can see, her team’s name was the Red Stripes. No, the beer wasn’t a sponsor. They are only 6 years old after all. Pure coincidence. I swear.
