We are a family of four humans (plus two dogs and a guinea pig) who are lucky enough to live in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin.
I am Ellen, and my husband is Joel. Joellen. The best parts of our family are our son Ethan (age nine) and our daughter Charlie (age four). Rounding out the younglings is Marley, our 5-year old Newfoundland, Baxter, an English Mastiff puppy, and Skittle, a very fat and demanding guinea pig.
We also have the honor to be the parents of Libby who left us in 2005 at the age of 1. Despite her lack of physical presence, our angel remains a very real part of our family and our lives. She touches us in ways that I will never fully understand but savor endlessly.
As with everyone on this planet, our lives are busy, busy, busy, and, at times, overwhelming. This blog is our relief and effort to pay tribute to the big and small things that matter most. Stories of life, love and laughter.
